Four independent 2S channels

ToothStor has four channels, and VIFLY describes each as independent. That means the connected 2S packs do not need the same starting voltage or capacity. Each channel can display its own values and run its own charge or storage process. This is different from a parallel board, where batteries share an electrical bus.

The published maximum is 1.5 A charging per port. Maximum discharge is 0.2 A per port, and balance current is also listed as 0.2 A. These are maker-rated current limits. VIFLY does not publish a separate maximum wattage, so this review does not convert the current figure into a broader output-power claim.

The colour LCD shows all four channel areas, and the product page lists a memory function that restores the previous settings. A buzzer can announce the end of a cycle and can be disabled from the controls.

Do all four packs have to match?

No. VIFLY explicitly says voltage and size can differ because the channels are independent. The official page uses the word “size” but does not publish minimum or maximum mAh limits. Every pack must still satisfy the stated 2S chemistry and connector requirements.

Balance-lead charging defines compatibility

This reviewed version carries both BT3.0 and JST-XH2.54 3-pin sockets. VIFLY instructs users to charge through the balance lead only and says there is no need to connect XT30, T-plug or another main discharge lead. The four BT3.0 and four JST positions are paired by channel; the product image warns against connecting two batteries to one channel.

Battery compatibility is narrowly published as 2S LiPo and LiHV. No 1S, 3S or higher count appears in the specification, and no other chemistry is named. The charger therefore should not be described as a general multi-cell unit.

VIFLY lists four target voltages per cell: 3.80 V, 3.85 V, 4.20 V and 4.35 V. The first pair are the published storage choices, while the latter pair are the full-charge choices presented by the product page for LiPo and LiHV use.

Input power and the missing adapter

Three power connectors are built in: XT60, 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC and USB-C with PD3.0. The accepted input range is 10–26 V. VIFLY’s specification table says minimum input power is 65 W, while its feature text says a USB-C PD3.0 source must be higher than 65 W.

The $33.99 BT3.0 and JST-XH2.54 variant does not include an adapter. VIFLY lists a separate bundle with a 65 W USB-C charger, so the distinction is visible in the official variant data. This review uses the charger-only price and image, not the later bundle.

Input flexibility does not publish output capacity. VIFLY states current per port but no total simultaneous charge wattage, power derating rule or allocation behaviour when all four channels request maximum current. Maximum charge power therefore remains TODO: verify.

Storage mode and thermal hardware

For storage mode, the selected channel automatically charges when a pack is below the chosen target or discharges when it is above. VIFLY publishes two targets, 3.80 V/cell and 3.85 V/cell, rather than one fixed storage setting.

The page also lists a fan and large heat sink for heat dissipation during discharge. Their presence is documented; temperature rise, fan noise and discharge duration are not. At the maker-rated 0.2 A maximum discharge current, the time needed to lower a pack will depend on its capacity and starting voltage, neither of which can be assumed here.

Physical dimensions are 109 × 56 × 30 mm and published weight is 142 g. Those figures cover the charger, while the selected variant’s external power source adds its own size and mass.
